Kreative Weddings is a Greater West Coast Wedding & Events Planning & Design Company, with a goal to kreate beautiful, yet smart and savvy events. We are a team dedicated to providing our clients with nothing short of spectacular, all while staying within any budget.
About the owner
Katherine Decker, MCWP
Hi! My name is Katherine. I am an accomplished hospitality industry colleague with a background in weddings, trade shows, catering, design, corporate & nonprofit events, and of course, DIY!
I take pride in my extensive background, as it got me where I’m at today. My experiences in the industry have taught me how to be a better planner and coordinator for my clients.
I have lived in the PNW my whole life, but have recently relocated to Las Vegas, where KW will be headquartered.
As a child, I was very active in arts & crafts, taking part in a weekly 4-H club after school and we would submit our crafts to the county & state fairs. I started my journey in events back then when I dabbled in cake decorating, table setting competitions, & table decorating at the King County & Washington State Fairs.
I decided to start my own business back in my undergraduate years, but I did not know what I wanted to do. I worked hard to find a passion, and found one within weddings & events! I started out KW as a blog and quickly grew on track with my certification courses to open up KW for services in 2021.
I have big plans for the future of Kreative Weddings, and what we aspire to accomplish for our clients. My plan is to provide an inclusive, kreative space for all types of party planners & vendors alike to utilize our tools and resources in order to bring their own unique vision to life on any type of budget.

The “Peaceful Days” package services clients who’ve done the leg work in planning & need to take the last couple months to mentally relax.
As part of our design process, we include a special time to review your entire décor collection. All design packages include a preliminary moodboard.
We offer a COMPLETELY customizable experience for our wedding clients who are needing to design an activity area for the kiddos coming to their big day!
Looking to enjoy a picnic with you and your close friends? Look no further! We love setting up intimate meals for just you two, or you can invite your posse!
